The Winter’s Tale

In 2000 John Marwick directed The Winter’s Tale for the first time (he presented the play again as Bard in the Yard in 2021). This production was mounted on a multi-level stage in Muritai School Hall. Sicilia was set in late 1930s UK and Bohemia was 16 year’s later in 1950s New Zealand.
The production won awards in Wellington District Theatre Federation Full Length Play competition:
