DESCRIPTION:Bard in the Yard 2019 was As You Like It. This was the second time the Troupe had produced the play although the previous production had been in 2001 when we still performed in people’s back yards with book in hand. She’s giving the Bard’s\nromantic comedy a contemporary New Zealand twist.\nAs in previous years\, we will stage the performance in the enclosed Muritai School yard (166 Muritai Road\, Eastbourne\,\nLower Hutt). The lights will come up as the sun sets to create a lovely magical atmosphere. Of course\, we can’t always\nguarantee the weather so best to be prepared with something warm. If it rains we move inside to the floor of the adjacent\nschool hall.\nThere are only five performances – Tuesday 5 – Saturday 9 March. Doors (and the bar) open at 7 pm for a 7.30 start.\nTickets are general admission only – so come early for a good seat.\nTickets can be purchased online here or bought at Rona Gallery in Eastbourne. But be quick because seating is limited.\nHope to see you there!
