Join us for a fascinating summer evening’s entertainment. This year’s Bard in the Yard will be a collation of familiar and not-so-familiar scenes from Shakespeare. See tragedy in Macbeth and Othello and trial dramas as a king accuses his wife in The Winter’s Tale and Joan of Arc rises and falls in Henry VI. Meet the formidable Queen Margaret from the War of the Roses and Kate and Hotspur from Henry IV. Laugh along with Dogberry and the Watch from Much Ado About Nothing.
The evening will have something for everyone – young and old.
We perform outside (hoping the lovely weather continues) so wrap up well – but if it rains we will move into the adjacent school hall.
